Just a quick post to link to this article on the blog Morgan's Cloud about two yacht abandonments. Interesting reading.
We read the story of the second abandonment (of the catamaran Be Good Too) just after our own adventure in a piece of the same weather pattern (as described earlier here). This is not to put our adventure in the same league as Be Good Too - they were much farther north, much farther offshore, and faced troubles far worse than ours. But still - made us feel lucky.
By the way, Morgan's Cloud is one of the best voyaging-in-a-sailboat web sites Ive seen, both for interesting reading as well as how-to topics.
